A WIDE VARIETY OF STANDARDS-BASED ASSESSMENTS— INCLUDING ENTRY-LEVEL, PROGRESS MONITORING, AND SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENTS—ARE PROVIDED ELECTRONICALLY AND IN PRINT. PRESCRIPTIONS WITH THESE ASSESSMENTS ALLOW TEACHERS TO MAKE INFORMED INSTRUCTIONAL DECISIONS AND TO TRACK STUDENTS’ PROGRESS TOWARD MASTERY OF THE STANDARDS.
Every lesson includes instructional tools to allow teachers to adapt the curriculum for students who have special needs: English language learners, advanced learners, and students below grade level. Strategic and On-level interventions are built into every chapter and lesson to allow teachers to adapt the curriculum to meet individual needs.
STORYTELLING, AND DRAMATIZATION. FIELD TRIPS ARE ALSO PART OF THE CHILDREN’S EXPERIENCES.
Our goal is geared towards helping children develop habits of Observation, Questioning, and Listening. In doing so it gives awareness of one’s own feelings and of one’s right to express those feelings, sometimes channeling them into more appropriate means of expression. Our children learn that they are free to make choices as long as they stay within the limits of consideration for other people and things. Our Children are treasures for their uniqueness and individuality, and are encouraged to develop their self-expression. Utilizing such an open-minded curriculum prepares our children to utilize their intellectual and creative abilities for future learning challenges and tasks.
Realizing not all children develop or learn at the same pace, versatility is needed. We have designed a program utilizing several curriculums and our own experience to meet each child’s needs. Below is two of our main programs that are used.
