OUR DIRECTORS

ANITA FULTZ- Director & Owner

When I opened Phoenix Academy, now Phoenix Preschool in 1999, I brought not only 18 years of teaching and supervisory experience in Early Childhood Education. The most important qualities I bring are my love, patience, and respect for each and every child trusted to my care. I am so pleased that you are considering our school. Like many of you, I am a working parent who understands the concerns involved in searching out the best education and quality care for your child. I remember all too well that choosing a preschool can be stressful for child and parent alike.

Knowing that your child’s emotional and cognitive development depends on the nurturing and stimulation they receive from the very beginning and entrusting others to share that task can make for a difficult decision.

As the owner and director of Phoenix Preschool, I will see to it that the love and patience I have for all children, coupled with my belief that each child has the right to respect and personal dignity, I will insure that these values are set forth to every child by every member of my staff each and every day. The teachers look forward partnering with you, the parents and caregivers, to provide not only the safest and kindest, but the most academically up to date and healthy environment.

At Phoenix Preschool, we welcome your questions – all your questions. And while we have tried very hard to answer them on this website, nothing can take the place of a face-to-face meeting. Call for an appointment and get acquainted with the high standards and compassionate classroom that is Phoenix Preschool

ADA RUIZ – Academic Director

After graduating college, I interned in a psychology program, where I worked with very young children with exceptional issues. I discovered children being happy and at peace in the classroom, where they were truly understood. This was a turning point in my career. I continued graduate school in Early Childhood Education, and found this to be my calling.

I believe teaching the most treasured and valued people in our society is a privilege. A privilege taken very seriously. Teaching comes from the heart, and I have listened to my heart and have dedicated my life to nurture the minds of the future.
